A bike tour to discover the picturesque scenery of Tuscany!
The journey begins in the town of Santa Fiora, considered one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. We strongly recommend losing yourself in the characteristic streets of this medieval village as well as a visit the Pieve and it’s famous della Robbia glazed ceramics, and La Peschiera with and its Church of the Madonna delle Nevi, from where the source of the Fiora River flows, right under your feet. You will stay in small family-run hotels, bed and breakfasts or in a farmhouse in this town, or in one of the towns nearby on Monte Amiata. The duration of the tour is 3 days and there are two bike rides from Santa Fiora: the first ride passes through Selva, the Etruscan town of Pitigliano and arrives at the thermal baths of Saturnia. The second ride is an easy tour on two wheels through the emerald Amiata valley. Halfway through the route, a tasty snack of grilled sausages will be waiting for you! We want to gift you a safe and secure tour of our Tuscany brimming with experiences, inspiration, nature, culture and flavour.

DAY 1 - Welcome to the medieval village!
You will arrive by car in the village where you will be staying. Check in at your accommodation. In your room you will find a program with a detailed map for your stay. Aperitif and Tuscan dinner (3 courses with drinks) included in the village.
DAY 2 - The Etruscan town of Pitigliano and the thermal springs of Saturnia
43 km - "Medium difficulty route”
After breakfast you will leave by bike directly from Santa Fiora * for Sorano before reaching Pitigliano, a town founded around 750 years BC. Here the past meets the present, medieval architecture merges with the Etruscan caves dug into the rock face. Lunch is not included, but we can reserve a table for you if you wish. In the village you will find a variety of artisan shops, bars and restaurants. In the early afternoon our private driver will collect you and take you to the Saturnia thermal baths (bathing towel supplied) before returning to your accommodation.
Dinner will be served in an historic restaurant in the village where you are staying, including 3 Tuscan dishes paired with the Montecucco wine of our territory. * (If you are staying in one of the villages of Monte Amiata, we can organise a small transfer upon request or you can reach Santa Fiora independently).
DAY 3 - From Santa Fiora to the valley
22 km - "Easy route”
Breakfast and free morning to discover the village. Lunch not included.
At 16:00 the guided tour will depart from Piazza Garibaldi in Santa Fiora. A guide from the MTB association will lead you along a trail through the green forests and woods of Monte Amiata. Halfway through the route, a tasty snack with grilled sausages will be waiting for you.
For dinner there’s a delicious pizza with drinks! *

DAY 4 - Ciao A presto!
Breakfast and departure.
