Travel contracts are regulated by the Brussels Convention of 23.04.1970, confirmed by law no. 1084 of 27.12.77 and by the legislative decree of 06.09.2005, n. 206 of the "Consumer Code" pursuant to article 7 of law 29.07.2003 Nr. 229 published in the ordinary supplement G.U. n. 235 of 08.10.2005.
As organiser and tour operator, the travel agency Taste of Tuscany is governed both by these general conditions and by the conditions established in the description of the holiday provided to customers. Taste of Tuscany is only responsible for the services booked and paid for and cannot in any way violate the limits set by the aforementioned laws.
Taste of Tuscany requires a reservation in writing via e-mail at info@tasteoftuscanytravel.com.

1. Upon confirmation of booking, Taste of Tuscany requires a deposit / prepayment of 40% of the total amount of the package or stay. Once the payment has been made by bank transfer, EFTPOS, Postal Money Order/Cheque, Cash it must be registered and invoiced within 10 working days of delivery of the invoice.
2. Taste of Tuscany will send the final payment 45 days prior to arrival. In the case of the immediate purchase of a single service or a single trip, the payment required is for the entire agreed amount.
3. The balance must be sent 30 days before the departure date. For reservations confirm within 30 days of arrival, the payment of the deposit and the balance must be simultaneous.
4. For agreements with agencies or participation groups, a personalized contract will be sent.
Taste of Tuscany requires the following information in writing:
1. A prime contact person: mobile number, postal address and e-mail, social security number/tax number, home address and acceptance of privacy sensitive data.
2. Written confirmation of the program / venue and services agreed with Taste of Tuscany.
3. Provide all necessary information on flights, public transport for pick up and room list as well as any other information requested.
4. Inform Taste of Tuscany about participants with health problems or special requests (food intolerance, vegetarians, etc.)
All the above information must be sent by post within 30 days before the arrival date, unless otherwise agreed with Taste of Tuscany.
In case of cancellations / postponements, Taste of Tuscany will apply the penalties indicated below, calculated as a percentage of the entire package plus the costs incurred:
1. Cancellation made more than 90 days before the arrival date, Taste of Tuscany will keep the administrative deposit of 30% per person.
2. Cancellation made less than 60 days before the arrival date, Taste of Tuscany will keep the prepayment in full.
3. If canceled 30 days or less prior to arrival, or no show, or the traveller cannot provide the necessary documents (such as tickets or passports), Taste of Tuscany will keep full payment.
4. Please note that we do not issue refunds for previously reserved unused portions of the trip.
Trip cancellation insurance is not required but is strongly recommended.
We recommend the traveller contact their insurance company who can best advise and provide detailed information regarding cancellation insurance, coverage, pre-existing conditions and applied premiums.
All prices include service charges and VAT, at the price agreed upon at the time of confirmation.
In the event of an increase in taxes during the period following the customer's booking, Taste of Tuscany reserves the right to increase prices accordingly.
The tourism tax is not included in any of our offers, it must be paid at the check out of each structure in cash.
Taste of Tuscany rarely makes changes to the declared itinerary. If changes are required it is only to improve your travel and stay. However, other unforeseen circumstances may force us to change the itinerary. We make every effort to minimise changes and any replacement will have equal or greater value. Taste of Tuscany is in no way responsible for changes made due to circumstances beyond our control or unexpected natural events, as well as for incorrect information printed in the third party supplied catalogues.
By paying the Taste of Tuscany invoice, the customer accepts our booking conditions.
The customer, signatory of the contract, will be responsible for the points indicated below:
1. Prejudices and / or harmful events that occur in accommodation facilities, due to their negligence in using them or failure to comply with internal regulations;
2. Contribution to negligence in the aforementioned behaviour that is also committed by third parties;
3. For any wilful misconduct and / or negligence that causes the damages referred to in point 1), even if determined by the client's guests.
4. Compensation for the above damages will be paid by the customer, in accordance with the tour operator's compensation.
5. If the tour operator is called to account, however, for the above liability, being charged to the customer, he will be entitled to recover any amount from the same for all the expenses incurred for this reason, as well as the reimbursement of expenses incurred in the defence of any legal proceedings, with legal interest and appreciation, from the date of payment until the payment of the balance.
Unauthorised copying or use of services violates written and stated laws and agreements and may involve liability.
The text or images of any program listed must not be copied without the express authorisation of Taste of Tuscany, in accordance with the law of the country. It is not permitted to use the services offered and provided by the Taste of Tuscany operators without the existence of this agreement.
Taste of Tuscany adheres to the above laws in all organised tour packages and events, in line with the individual conditions of the organiser. The agreement extends to include the travel arrangements as indicated in the booking and confirmation, as well as any additional travel arrangement benefits outside the initial contract.
